Affiliate disclosure

Draft for review. This document has not yet been reviewed by a lawyer and will be finalized before public launch. Last updated: October 12, 2026.

Carribou is free to use. To keep it that way, some links to hotels, tours, tickets and car rentals are affiliate links. If you book through one, the partner may pay us a commission. It costs you nothing extra.

What this means for you

  • Affiliate links are labeled “Affiliate” and carry a short note next to them.
  • Commissions never affect our recommendations. Which places we show, and in what order, is decided without regard to affiliate programs. A place doesn't rank higher because it can be booked through a partner.
  • When you click an affiliate link, we record that a click happened (partner, page context, destination, and your account if you're signed in). We don't share your name or email with partners. See our Privacy Policy.
  • Bookings happen on the partner's site under their terms and prices.

Partners

We may work with travel affiliate programs such as Booking.com, Expedia, GetYourGuide and Viator. This list will be kept current.
